Rheumatology Consultation
Prof Spector is available for consultation in Central London once per week privately. He also performs NHS clinics at St Thomas' Hospital, London.
Prof Spector is a consultant rheumatologist with over 20 years experience. He has participated in many trials of the latest drugs such as Protelos, Actonel, and Parathyroid Hormone. He specializes in the two most common rheumatic diseases, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis where he has extensive expertise and international recognition in the causes and treatments. He is also experienced in all forms of rheumatoid arthritis and general rheumatology, as well as all aspects of rheumatic complaints with a genetic basis. He is also an advisor to the National Osteoporosis Society. He is recognised by all the major medical insurance companies.
He was awarded the International Prize in Osteoarthritis Clinical Research in 2007 and is author on over 400 papers
